We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager – Government Channel who understands the competitive landscape in Additive Manufacturing within the Military and Federal Government arena. This individual should be competitive by nature and possess a hunger for human interaction. He/she should also be an exceptional listener and possess a high sense of urgency. This individual will also have experience specifically selling into the federal, state and local government sector of the marketplace, and other public entities.

Required Experience and Knowledge:

  • Required – 5 or more years of outside sales experience working with Government focused suppliers is required for this position
  • Experience as a Supervisor or Manager
  • Experience with CRM platforms
  • Candidate should be well versed in GSA & DLA procurement vehicles: MAS, eMALL, TLS, eBuy, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of client relations, account management, and distribution channels.
  • Thorough understanding of business conditions across products, customers, and divisions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior Military Service is highly preferred with honorable discharge
  • Experience working with DoD branch program offices
  • Experience working with Military Exchanges

Responsibilities:

  • Develop/plan your sales strategy and effectively position the Company’s product line
  • Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with Workday and develop in-person relationships with all in-region field offices
  • Run complex sales cycles managing prospects and internal staff
  • Manage existing customer accounts to determine future revenue opportunities
  • Manage multiple, concurrent deals cycles maintaining accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data
  • Manage to a quarterly sales quota
  • Provide support for marketing activities and events
  • Work with the Delivery Team to develop estimates for work and position us ahead of Collaborative competitors

Skills & Requirements:

  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to present to all organization levels
  • Ability to work with customer and internal team members to estimate services needs
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate the benefits of an on-demand/web services architecture
  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies
  • Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as using Sugar CRM applications
  • Ability to travel 50 to 75% to customer and workday locations for effective relationship development
  • Experience working with Industrial Distributors in Government channel
  • Experience working with Aerospace/Aeronautics focused sales
