The VP Sales is responsible for building the sales team, and distribution channels for laser marking, engraving, cutting, 3D direct laser sintering and 3D metal printing equipment. This individual will be a highly motivated, must possess a technical/engineering experience and a self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research.
Must be able and experienced in setting up and following standard Sales Operation Procedures, monitor, report and control sales personnel and channel goals and performance, and provide accurate sales forecast for financial budgeting department.
Job Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or related area.
- 10 years of proven success in building the high performance sales teams.
- Have a thorough understanding of technical and engineering terminology
- Familiarity with high tech industry
- A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision maker
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
- Good problem solving acumen
- Proficient with MS office products (word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook)
- Experience with CRM software
- Good business acumen
