Fonon Corporation Expands Sales Management Team Hiring Steve Russ as Director of Business Development



Steve Russ brings seasoned sales experience and leadership to Fonon Corporation as the company continues to expand operations

LAKE MARY, FL-(August 14th, 2015)-Fonon Corporation (“Fonon”) is pleased to announce the hiring of Steve Russ as Director of Business Development.  Having graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), he has worked for NASA on the Space Shuttle program as well as 11 years of experience working in the Semiconductor industry with Sawtek Inc. and TriQuint Semiconductor.

Mr. Russ will manage a number of emerging programs, as well as key major accounts targeting the company’s next-generation family of LaserTower™ marking & engraving systems, Titan cutting systems, semiconductor wafer dicing systems, glass cutting and glass marking systems.  Louis Schlegel, Fonon’s Vice-President commented, “Mr. Russ’ experience in managing major accounts and sales experience of highly customized semiconductor components and subsystems immediately adds seasoned mid-management experience to the company as we continue to expand our sales and marketing team.”
