International Business Development

The candidate is responsible for prospecting and qualifying new business in Mexico and Latin America by selling direct and through Distributors and reps. Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade others while building relationships is essential to the position. The ideal candidate have direct experience of selling to Mexico and Latin America. The individual should have a cold-call mentality with outstanding listening skills.

The position is an outreach process following up with historical customers to determine if there is an emerging business opportunity while keeping customers updated on new products. No prior experience with laser-based systems is required with continuous training available, however personal knowledge of potential manufacturing and distribution customers and partners is required. The position includes a base salary plus commissions for purchase order.

The International Business Development Manager candidate is expected to:

  • Expand Business throughout Mexico and Latin America by selling directly to customers and through appointing distributors and reps.
  • Fulfill sales quota according to the Company Business Plan.
  • Identify higher levels of opportunities leading to increase of the bottom line.
  • Provide customers with updated information on the company’s products
  • Work internally with marketing team to develop and grow sales pipeline.
  • Log communication and maintain Data in Company CRM system
  • Able and loving to sell Industrial Products on the B2B bases.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in related area.
  • International, Inside sales / customer service experience
  • Experience building long term International relationships
  • A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision maker
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Good problem solving acumen
  • Proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Good business acumen
