SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
This position will be responsible for selecting and hiring Outside Sales Personnel, Reps and Distributors throughout North America and lead the business development and sales activities through Channel Sales Management of Industrial Laser Systems.
The role will focus on developing sales channels and infrastructure to support the growth of this new business with North American both B2B and US Government.
The position requires a strong understanding of Channel Sales hiring, principles and Management and experience negotiating with fortune 500 companies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must have a proven record of success in Channel Management and business relations
Must be diligent in the development of relationships and the negotiation of deals with partners and customers
Must be able to adjust work schedule to accommodate customers in the different time zones.
Must work with product managers and project finance department to ensure offering is developed to meet customer and market needs
Must take personal responsibility for the sales results of the Channel Sales business unit
Qualification
Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area.
Familiarity with Laser or another high-tech industry.
Managers should have related experience and industry contacts.
A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision maker.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with MS office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with CRM software.
Have good business acumen.
