Field Service Technician
Fonon Technologies is seeking a responsible and motivated technician to join our team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Setup/commission new laser systems at industrial settings in the USA.
- Educate end users on operation and routine maintenance.
- Recommend improvements and upgrades.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone and email.
- Interact with engineers to achieve design improvements.
- Interface with customers in conjunction with sales representatives to promote the company’s products and services.
- Where necessaary, perform calibration and preventative maintenance.
- Where necessary, troubleshoot and repair.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experienced in laser hardware, software, lasers & electronics industries.
- Candidate must be an effective self-starter
- Ability to handle a range of technologies, working in conjunction with a variety of customers and colleagues.
- Have a good understanding of electronic and electrical principles as they relate to measuring and testing devices.
- Willing to travel.
